Day 1 Arrival / Beijing

Transfer via: Flight - By your own arrangement

Upon your arrival in Beijing, you will be met and transferred you to your Hotel.  The rest of the day is free to rest to recover from jetlag or explore Beijing on your own.

Day 2 Beijing (B,L)

After breakfast, begin the day's activity with a visit to Tian'anmen Square, the largest urban square in the world. Then, move on to the Imperial Palace, also known as the "Forbidden City", the biggest palace complex in the world. In the afternoon, you will take a ride in rickshaw through some old "Hutongs", lanes or alleys formed by lines of Siheyuan (a compound with houses around a courtyard) where you will visit some family. Then visit the Lhama Monastery, a 260-year-old monastery is the largest and most perfectly preserved lamasery in present day China.

Day 3  Beijing  (B,L)

Beijing badaling in the setting sunToday's highlight is the visit of the Great Wall (Badaling Great Wall), one of the "Seven Wonders of the World" and a symbol of Chinese civilization. Then move on to visit the Ming Tombs (Changling Tomb) area where is for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Sacred Road, "The road leading to heaven" for the ancient emperors. Afterwards, have an overlook at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Evening enjoy a Peking Roast Duck Banquet as dinner.

Day 4 Beijing / Xi'an (B,L)

Transfer via: Flight - By our arrangement

After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven, the complex is 500 years old and was visited annually by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to conduct rites and prayers for a good harvest. Where you may see local people doing traditional taiqi, martial arts, ballroom dancing, and even amateur Peking opera performances. Afterwards, visit the Summer Palace, one of China's largest and best-preserved royal gardens, where you can have a walk along the famous Long Corridor. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Xian.

Day 5 Xi'an (B,L)

Terracotta WarriorsBegin the day's activity with an once-in-a-lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2,200-year-old Terracotta Warriors of China's first feudal Emperor, Qin Shihuang. After lunch, you will visit to Ancient City Wall, built in the 13th century on the foundations of the original Tang Forbidden City surrounding the city centre, it is a major landmark, and the best preserved, as well as the oldest and largest of the city defense systems in China.

Day 6 Xi'an / Lhasa (B,L)

Transfer via: Flight - By our arrangement

Be transfer to the airport for the flight to Lhasa.
Upon arrival, be met and transfer to the hotel. Plan on taking it slow the rest of the day, you can adjust to the altitude. Remember to drink plenty of water and gen plenty of sleep for the long journey ahead.

Day 7 Lhasa (B,L)

Potala PalaceThe morning you'll wind through the stunning, awe-inspiring Potala Palace. Built in 637 AD by SongtsenGampo, it was the former winter residence for the Dalai center of Tibetan Buddhism for the Dlai Lamas and is truly a splendor of Eastern architecture. Next, visit the Jokhang Temple, the center of Tibetan Buddhism, also built in the 7th century on the legendary pond of "Wothang." And finish the day by taking a Kora around the Barkhor. Test your bartering skills with the locals in this push-and-shove economy.

Day 8 Lhasa (B,L)

Debating at Sera MonasteryAfter breakfast visit the Tspung Monastery, painted in red and white, the buildings in the kloster stand closely together in terraced rows, offering a grand and majestic view. In the afternoon witness the famous debate sessions by the monks at Sera Monastery, then go for a family visit to have a closed touch with the local people, practicing, discovering and learning more about their daily life.

Day 9 Lhasa / Shanghai (B,L)

Transfer via: Flight - By our arrangement

After breakfast, visit The Norbulingka Park, a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served as the whole governmental administration. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai in the afternoon. Upon arrival in Shanghai, be met and transfer to the hotel.

Day 10 Shanghai (B,L)

In the morning, start our tour to The Shanghai World Financial Center. It is a super tall skyscraper. It is a mixed use skyscraper, which will consist of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and shopping malls on the lower floors.

shanghaiThen head to the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall which is much more interesting and impressive than its sounds. It tells the story of growth of the metropolis, explains her foundation, development and future in 1 to 2 hours.
 In the afternoon, take a relaxing walk to the lovely old Yuyuan Garden, the most famous garden in Shanghai which is decorated by beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rock formations. You will pass the Yuyuan Market. It is also a shopper's paradise with many small shops, often housed in authentic historic structures and selling everything from furniture to porcelain.

After that, we will go directly to the Bund - the old colonial sector, which is home to a myriad of European-styled buildings that face the Huangpu River. It is a must-see when visiting Shanghai. Architectural styles include gothic, baroque, Romanesque, and renaissance.

Day 11 Shanghai (B,L)

This morning you will visit marvelous Shanghai Museum, a leading attraction of the city since it opened in 1994, containing some priceless collections of paintings, porcelains and bronzes. Then visit Jade Buddha Temple, where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured. Afternoon explore the Xintiandi area.

Day 12 Shanghai / Exit (B)

Transfer via: Flight - By your own arrangement

Be transfer to the airport for the flight to your sweet home.
