Day 1  Arrival   /  Lhasa

Transfer via: Flight - By your own arrangement

Welcome to the "Roof of the World". On your arrival to Tibet, we will meet you at airport or train station and transfer you to the hotel. Plan on taking it slow the rest of today, so you can adjust to the altitude. Remember to drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep for the long journey ahead. The fixed the pick up time is 15:20 at airport or train station. If requested private pick up extra charge should be paid.

Day 2 Lhasa(B,D)

Lhasa City sightseeing, visit Drak Yerpa 2.5 hr about, and Sera monastery 2 hrs, overnight in LhasaTibet tour

Drak Yerpa is a place that has deep meanings in the Tibetan spiritual culture. There is a saying goes like this: "Lhasa is the shrine of Tibet, Drak Yerpa is the shrine of Lhasa. Not seeing Drak Yerpa in Lhasa is just like making a dress without the collar." The entrance to the Yerpa Valley is about 16 km northeast of Lhasa on the northern bank of the Kyichu River. From there, it is another 10 km to the famous ancient meditation caves.

Visit Sera monastery in the afternoon. It's one of Gelugpa (yellow hat) sect monastic colleges. Sera monastery is famous for its Buddhism philosophical debate practice.

Day 3  Lhasa  (B)

Lhasa City sightseeing, visit Potola Palace 1hr & Jokhang Temple 1hr, overnight in Lhasa

Both of Potala Palace and Jokhang temple are the focal points of pilgrims from entire Tibetan world, multitudinous pilgrims are circumambulating and prostrating in their strong faith. Potala Palace is the worldwide known cardinal landmark of Tibet. The massive structure itself contains a small world within it. Mostly it is renowned as residence of the Dalai Lama lineages. Jokhang temple is the most scared shrine in Tibet which was built in 7th century and located at the heart of old town in Lhasa, the circuit around it called Barkhor street, which is a good place to purchase souvenirs.

Day 4 Lhasa—Namtso[4740m]—Yangpachen hot spring(optional)[4300m]—Lhasa 500km 8hrs Overnight in Lhasa (B)

Tibet Join-in TourOn the way to Namtso, you will have a far view of Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges, enjoy the vast grassland and spectacular natural scenery. You’ll arrive at Namtso after you pass the Nagela Pass[5150m]. It’s the highest salt lake. It means “holy lake” in the Tibetan language. In the early summer, flocks of wild ducks fly to inhabit here and breed their offspring. Wild animals such as black bears, yaks, wild donkeys, bharals, foxes, roe deer and marmots can often be found around the lake. Highland thin-squama fish and non-squama fish are abundant in the lake. And around the lake grow some famous valuable medicinal plants such as Chinese caterpillar fungus, fritillaria and hsueh-lien-hua (also called snow lotus flower).You can do a bit trekking at the lake side or even a little Mountain climbing at Tashi Dor. In Nov. 14, 2005, Namtso Lake was selected as one of the five most beautiful lakes in China by Chinese National Geography magazine.

On the way back, you will have a chance to enjoy hot-spring at Yangbachen on your own expense if you would like to.

Day 5 Lhasa / Exit (B)

Transfer via: Flight   - By your own arrangement

Free time in the morning for you to wander around Lhasa. Take a last, memorable look at the Patala Palace before being transported to the airport at 12:00pm.

Price Include:

2. All meals as specified in the itinerary. “B” stands for western breakfast * “L” stands for Chinese lunch in a local Chinese restaurant, and “D” stands for Chinese dinner in a local Chinese restaurant. *Exceptions: 1. If the occasional hotel does not offer western breakfast, “B” stands for Chinese breakfast, or 2. If the clients requested Chinese breakfast

6. Air-conditioned van used for transfer to sightseeing

7. Free pick up at see off at airport or trainstation (15:20 Lhasa airport – downtown, 12:00 downtown – Lhasa airport; 20:00 Lhasa train station – downtown, 09:00 downtown-train station)

Price Exclude:

1. Chinese Visa

2. Airfare or train tickets to Lhasa

3. Any meals which are not specified with “B”, “L” or “D”.

4. Personal Expenses: Expenses of a purely personal nature such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone call, optional activities, sightseeing or meals which are not included in the itinerary.

5. The loss due to the flight delays, landslide debris flow, bad weather or force majeure etc.

6. Gratuities: Tips to guides or drivers. We suggest US$5per day per person according the service you received.


1)Booking at least 11working days prior to the departure day is required as Tibet Permit application must be summited 10 working day in advance to the departure day according to the Tibet Tourism administration.

2) The fixed the pick up time is 15:20 at airport or train station. If requested private pick up extra charge of RMB350 at airport or RMB200 at station, per time.
