Day 1Arrival / Lhasa

Transfer via: Flight - By our arrangement

pilgrims, Tibet TourWelcome to the "Roof of the World". On your arrival to Tibet, we will meet you at airport or train station and transfer you to the hotel. Plan on taking it slow the rest of today, so you can adjust to the altitude. Remember to drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep for the long journey ahead.

Day 2  Lhasa  (B,L)

This morning, we tour Potala Palace, the winter palace of the Dalai Lama & listed as a world heritage site and Tsepung Monastery, the biggest monastic university of Tibet. Then pay a visit to the Tibetan Family.

Day 3 Lhasa  (B,L)

In the morning, we visit Norbulingka Park, the summer palace for the Dalai Lama. In the afternoon, we cover Jokhang Temple - the "central cathedral", Barkhor - the bustling market in the heart of old Lhasa with its narrow streets whitewashed stone homes. Have a walk on Barkhor Street, the bustling market place of Lhasa.

Day 4 Lhasa / Gyangtse (B,L)

Yamdrok Lake, Tibet TourDriving out of Lhasa, this long journey (8 hrs.) takes you through the vastness of the Tibetan Plateau, past the turquoise lake Yamdrok and over Kampala(4794m) and Karola (5010m) Passes. After 261km, we arrive at Gyantse at 3950m, a pastoral town which is still left pretty untouched by modern expansion.

Day 5 Gyangtse / Shigatse (B,L)

Visit Kumbum Stupa (an oversized chorten of over 100,000 images) & the adjoining Palkor Choede Monastery. & continue a short 90 km drive to Shigatse at 3900m.

Day 6 Shigatse / Lhasa (B,L)

After breakfast, drive to Tashilunpo Monastery. Painted in red and white, the buildings in the kloster stand closely together in terraced rows, offering a grand and majestic view. Tashilunpo Kloster represents the Tibetan super architecture art in the Last Tibetan spirit. The Kloster attracts thousands of Buddhists and tourists from domestic and abroad to travel and worship every year.

Day 7 Lhasa / Exit (B)

Transfer via: Flight - By your own arrangement

Transfer to the airport for the flight to your next destination.

Note:Booking at least 11working days prior to the departure day is required as Tibet Permit application must be summited 10 working day in advance to the departure day according to the Tibet Tourism administration.
