--- how to get to Xian

Xian Railway Station

Xian is in the central of China's transportation network. It is very easy to get by air, train and bus from almost every major Chinese destination.

By Air

Xian Xianyang International Airport is located about 43 kilometers northwest of downtown Xian in Xianyang. As the fourth largest airport in China, Xian Airport is home to 57 domestic daily flights from almost every major Chinese destination. Among them, there are a number of direct schedule flights to some well-know tour destinations in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guilin, Chengdu, Jiuzhaigou, Lhasa and other cities. International airlines from Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Thailand, totaling 10 Asian cities have well established servers at Xian.

Xian Xiangyang airport was opened in 1991. The rapid growth in air traffic in north western China has led it to require further investment. Xian Xianyang airport will see its airport terminal building expanded with new investment buying boarding bridges, air conditioning equipment, and other passenger terminal building equipment.

The Anterior Square is used for taxi parking and a temporary waiting hall in the peak time. The East Square and the West Square assemble a great of number of city-buses, long-distance bus stations and car parks. In order to ease passengers' journeys, the railway station has set some eye-catching indicators both in Chinese and English to guide the road.
